How to See Scheduled Posts on Facebook

By Spencer Lanoue
October 31, 2025

You’ve batched a week’s worth of amazing Facebook content, scheduled it all out, and now feel that sweet sense of relief. But a few hours later, a question pops into your head: which photo did you pick for Wednesday’s post? Was the link in Friday’s post the right one? Suddenly, you realize you have no idea where to actually find the content you just scheduled. This article cuts through the confusion and shows you exactly how to see, edit, and manage all of your scheduled posts on Facebook, whether they’re for a Page or a Group.

Why Keeping Track of Your Scheduled Content Matters

Scheduling content is a social media manager’s best friend, but the “set it and forget it” approach can lead to trouble. Knowing where to find your scheduled posts isn’t just about making last-minute edits, it’s a core part of a flexible and professional social media strategy. It allows you to:

  • Catch Last-Minute Errors: Everyone makes mistakes. A quick review of your scheduled queue can help you spot a typo, a broken link, or the wrong image before it goes live to your entire audience.
  • Stay Agile and Relevant: The world moves fast. A major news story can break, or a trending topic can emerge that makes a pre-scheduled post suddenly seem out of touch or insensitive. Being able to quickly pause or edit your content is essential.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Looking at your upcoming posts together gives you a bird’s-eye view of your content. You can easily see if your tone is consistent, if your visual branding is on point, and if you’re posting too much of one type of content.
  • Fill Content Gaps: A visual look at your schedule, like in a calendar view, immediately shows you where the holes are. You might notice you have nothing planned for a weekend and can quickly create or reschedule a post to fill that void.

Ultimately, easy access to your scheduled content turns scheduling from a simple time-saver into a powerful strategic tool.

Finding Scheduled Posts for a Facebook Page (via Meta Business Suite)

For Facebook Pages, all content management has moved over to the Meta Business Suite. It can feel a bit complicated at first, but once you know where to look, it’s quite powerful. Facebook gives you two primary ways to see your scheduled content here: through the “Planner” or the “Content” tab. We’ll cover both.

Method 1: Using the Content Tab

The "Content" tab is a great list-based view that shows you everything you have in the pipeline. It’s perfect for when you want to quickly see all the details of your upcoming posts at once.

  1. Navigate to Meta Business Suite: Go to business.facebook.com and make sure you’ve selected the correct business account and Facebook Page from the dropdown menu in the top left.
  2. Click on "Content": In the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen, find and click on the “Content” option. This is your hub for everything you’ve posted or planned.
  3. Select the "Scheduled" Filter: Near the top of the content screen, you’ll see several tabs or filters, such as “Published,” “Scheduled,” and “Drafts.” Click on “Scheduled”. You will now see a chronological list of everything you have scheduled to go live on your Facebook Page (and your connected Instagram account, if you have one).
  4. Manage Your Posts: From here, you have full control. For each post in the list, you'll see a preview and some key information. Click on the three dots (...) next to any post to open up a menu of options, including:
    • Edit Post: Open the post editor to change the text, image, video, link, or targeting.
    • Reschedule Post: Choose a new date and time for the post to go live.
    • Duplicate Post: Create a copy of the post, which is useful if you want to reuse a successful format.
    • Publish Now: Push the scheduled post live immediately.
    • Delete Post: Permanently remove the scheduled post.

Method 2: Using the Planner (Calendar View)

If you’re more of a visual person, the Planner is your best friend. It displays your content in a weekly or monthly calendar format, making it easy to see your schedule at a glance.

  1. Navigate to Meta Business Suite: Just like before, head to business.facebook.com and select the correct Page.
  2. Click on "Planner": In the left-hand navigation menu, click on “Planner”. This will open up a calendar view of your content schedule.
  3. Find Your Scheduled Posts: Your scheduled posts will appear on the calendar on the dates and times they are set to publish. You'll see a small preview of the post. They are often color-coded or have an icon indicating they are scheduled. In this view, you can also see recommendations from Meta for optimal posting times.
  4. Edit and Reschedule Directly: This is where the Planner really shines. You can click on any scheduled post to see a full preview and get options to edit it. Even better, you can simply drag and drop the post to a new day or time on the calendar to reschedule it in seconds. This is by far the fastest way to adjust your content timing.

How to Find Scheduled Posts in a Facebook Group

Managing scheduled posts for a Facebook Group is a bit different because it happens within the group itself, not in the Meta Business Suite. The process is straightforward if you're an Admin or Moderator with the correct permissions.

  1. Go to Your Facebook Group: First, navigate directly to the Facebook Group you are managing.
  2. Find Admin Tools: On the left side of the page, look for the “Admin tools” or “Moderator tools” menu. It contains all the management features for your Group.
  3. Click "Scheduled Posts": Scroll down within the Admin tools menu until you see an option called "Scheduled Posts". It's usually nested under a heading like "Content Management" or something similar. Click on it.
  4. View and Manage Your Queue: You’ll now see a page with a simple, chronological list of every post that has been scheduled for the group. Each item will show you who scheduled it, when it's scheduled to go live, and a preview of the content itself.
  5. Take Action: Just like with Pages, you have several options for each post. Typically, you can click on a post or a menu button next to it to:
    • Post Now: Publish the content to the group immediately.
    • Reschedule: Pick a new date and time.
    • Edit Post: Change any part of the post before it goes live.
    • Delete Post: Cancel the post entirely.

This dedicated section keeps things clean and separate from members' live posts, making it easy for your moderation team to stay aligned and on top of the content schedule.

Pro-Tips for Managing Scheduled Content

Finding your scheduled posts is the first step. Actively managing them is what levels up your social media presence.

Set a Weekly Review Reminder

Set a recurring 15-minute appointment with yourself every Friday afternoon or Monday morning. Use this time to open up the Meta Business Suite Planner or your Group’s scheduled posts queue and review everything set to go live in the upcoming week. Does it all still make sense? Is the timing right? This one small habit prevents a huge number of potential mistakes and keeps your strategy sharp.

Be Ready to Pause Everything

There will be times when posting your scheduled "Fun Fact Friday" is a bad look because of a serious local or world event. Knowing exactly where to go to quickly see and delete or reschedule a full week of content is a vital skill. This is why having a clear view of your publishing calendar matters - it allows you to act fast and avoid brand damage.

Analyze and Rework Winning Content

When you're reviewing your planned posts, also take a look at recently published ones. Did a particular format or topic do really well? In the Meta Business Suite Content view, you can easily find a high-performing post and use the "Duplicate Post" feature. Tweak it slightly and schedule the new version for a future date, effectively building on what you already know works without starting from scratch.

Final Thoughts

Knowing how to quickly find and manage your scheduled content in Meta Business Suite and within Facebook Groups isn’t just a nice skill to have - it turns your content calendar into a dynamic tool that saves you from stress and helps you maintain a professional, polished online presence.
